Wednesday, 12.30pm: HUNDLEBY racer Paul Fryer moved up to fourth in the Derby Phoenix Championship pre-injection 600 class after a successful weekend of racing at Cadwell Park, near Louth.
In the finals rounds of the competition, Fryer secured some good results which ultimately moved him into fourth position overall.

In race one Fryer dropped back from fourth to seventh but soon made up two places on the first lap.

Fryer concentrated on getting back up to the leading pack, however the red came out and the race was called a result with Fryer in fourth place.

For the second race Fryer was away with Hope and Dicken and preparing for battle, however he couldn't manage to sort his pace out in time and only managed to close the gap on the last lap.

The chequered flag came out and the race ended with Fryer crossing the line in fifth.

On day two Fryer secured a third place in the first race. After a good start, Fryer settled into a rhythm at the back of the leading pack of five riders.

Unfortunately Gibson crashed out and his bike smashed into Fryer's and the race was stopped. For the re-start Fryer was back in fourth and was battling with Dicken. With only two laps to go Fryer took to the rumble strip and passed Dicken and the back marker and crossed the finish line in 3rd.

In race two Fryer struggled to keep his front wheel down at the start which allowed Hope, Dicken and Hodgson to set off ahead.

Fryer was nearly two seconds adrift after the first lap.

On lap eight Dicken pushed too hard on the exit of the hairpin and crashed out.

Fryer crossed the finish line in third place and took fourth place in the championship.
