Friday - CADWELL Park is set to host the Motor Sports Association British Superkart Grand Prix over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, July 19 and 20.
Now in its third year, the British Superkart GP is the only international karting event to take place in the UK in 2008.

There have been record entries this year, with more than 150 superkarts taking part in four different categories - division one, F250 national, F125 open and F125 ICC.

Competitors will travel to Lincolnshire from across the UK, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Norway.

There will be several promising local competitors taking part, including brothers Stuart and Stephen Parker from Metheringham, and Nettleton's James O'Reilly.

The 2007 champion Lee Harpham will return to the county to defend his crown, and he is the current lap record holder at Cadwell Park.
