Tuesday - ALFORD's Glenn Kirkham will have to settle for fifth or sixth place in the men's hockey competition at the Olympics in Beijing.
Team GB entered their final group game against Australia needing an 8-0 win to progress to the semi-finals, but could only manage a 3-3 draw.

The game started well when Great Britain went 1-0 up against the Aussies, defending their Olympic crown from Athens, but a hard-fought contest ended in a draw, leaving the Brits in third place in the group.

Glenn, 26, will have one last chance for glory as Great Britain aim to beat the third placed team in group A to fifth place, on Saturday, before returning to the UK next week.
