Wednesday, 3.20pm - GUEST of honour at Cobra Ju-jitsu's Easter presentation night was former Skegness Mayor Coun Frank Grunnill.
Mr Grunnill had originally opened the in 2001 and was able to present Nathan Lake, a student who had been at the club when it started, with his first dan grade, which means he is no longer a student.

The junior club members gave a display of synchronised break-falls, the art of landing on the ground without hurting yourself.
The seniors, aged 13-60, followed with a demonstration of locks, throws, and take downs all used in self-defence.
Senior sensei Nick Preston explained how the club also mixes a Russian martial art called systema with ju-jitsu.
Awards were presented as follows: junior red one tag, Caitlin Manson, Georgina Jones, Joseph Pont and Bayley Spencer; junior red, Lewis Dales and Jack Taylor; orange one tag, Christianna Short; junior green one tag, Harry Raistrick and Nicola Parker; junior blue one tag, Victoria Gray and Joseph Preston.
