AN entertaining day was held at Toynton Village Hall as two parish councils joined forces to offer advice and support to local people.
Toynton St Peter and Toynton All Saints parish councils worked with local agencies at the hall to deliver information on the services they offer.
Students from King Edward VI Humanities College looked after children from Toynton All Saints Primary School and were escorted to the hall by PCSO Andy Williamson.
East Lindsey District Council was on hand to offer advice..
Dog owners queued up to get their pets microchipped and an interactive display on flood prevention was provided by Witham Fourth Internal Drainage Board.
The British Heart Foundation offered advice on healthy living while Age Concern gave advice to senior citizens.
Students from the Toynton campus of the Linkage College sold jute bags and fruit and vegetables grown by students. A book sale was held by Lincolnshire County Council's library service.
The bomb disposal unit from RAF Coningsby took an armoured tank to the Toyntons and held a find the mine game.
A tombola stall was also held and funds raised from the day will be divided between the British Heart Foundation and Age Concern.
