FORMER students of the Linkage College returned to the Toynton campus last Tuesday as the college celebrated 30 years in Toynton.
Prospective students were invited to the college, which looks after students with learning difficulties, to find out more about student experience.

A group of past students discussed how they made the transition into work through Linkage's employment services and one of the founders of the college, Don Mackenzie, presented a history of the campus.

Communications officer Naj Modak said: "It went really well and we had a lot of good feedback.

"We emphasised the fact you can come out of the college with work experience and aspects of being a student at Linkage.

"We talked to parents about what students have achieved and what their child can achieve and how it enables them to do whatever they want to do."

Mr Modak said lessons continued during the day so visitors could see students' work in action.
