THE ministry of Jesus was the subject of the family service at St James' Church, Spilsby.
The service was led by the Rev Joan Thornett with help from Jane Parker and Margaret Cook. The title was Nought to 33.

These numbers were put on the pews at one side of the church, while the numbers 0, 12, 30 and 33 were put at the other. Children collected a variety of items, including a driver's licence, a toy and a baptism card, and placed them with the numbers according to age. It was explained the numbers represented the only times things were written about Jesus - his birth, presentation at the temple, starting his ministry and his crucifixion.

The lessons were read by Victoria Litster and Linda Walker. Josh and Jamie Hall took collection. Banovallum Brass will give a concert in the church on Friday, June 6 at 7.30pm.
Tickets will be £5 on the door.

The first shoppers coffee morning raised £33. These will be held every Saturday until September.
