EDITOR – As a friend and supporter of the Seal Sanctuary and Natureland at Skegness, I was very sorry to read in the Standard this week about the death of Sammy the seal who had been at Natureland for quite a time.
I have been to Natureland on two occasions this year and as usual it has been a pleasure to visit and support, Sammy with the other seals and animals, penguins etc have brought much pleasure to the tourist. We will never forget Sammy so RIP,
I would like to add a tribute to the directors, Nickie and the staff, including the keepers who would regard Sammy as a personal loss, for the quality and kindness given to those under their control to make Skegness Natureland, a pleasure to visit and support.
