This week’s picture was provided by Tony Crother, of Huddersfield.

It shows a team from T. W. Broadbent Ltd (TWB), of Huddersfield, who faced off against Skegness Town Football Club in the mid to late Sixties.

He is able to name all but one of the players in the photo - the man on the far right of the front row.

Tony believes the man may have been from the Skegness or Boston area and is appealing for help in identifying him.

The men shown all worked at Cottam Power Station, near Retford, during its construction in the 1960s and 1970s.

The game was organised by Frank Ewing and the match official was Lewis Richardson, of Sutton-on-Trent, who was also employed at Cottam Power Station by TWB.

The match took place at Skegness Town on a Saturday during the summer of 1968.

Tony asks if anyone can provide the missing name, plus any further information about the game (such as date, results and scorers), to call him on 01484 655723 or 07837 624713.

Pictured (from left, back) Frank Ewing, Pat Smith, Mick Lynch, Tony Crowther, Gwynne Askham, Eric Coombes, Cliff Spencer, Tommy Todd (front), Peter Rushby, Jack Thornhill, Mick Gill, Alan Davies and Geoff Durrans.
