EDITOR - I have issues with two pieces of news in the Skegness Standard dated August 6 regarding the ‘Horse manure issue for town’ and ‘Group meeting to end 24-hour taxi rank saga’ stories.
In relation to Mr Darrel Blackburn complaining of horse manure in the town.
I would say, horses and carriages have been on Skegness sea front probably before Mr Blackburn was born and I believe it’s just a way of trying to get rid of them so the taxi association gets more business.
Give me the horse and carriages any time against tin cans on wheels that do more polluting of the atmosphere than horse manure. The idea of getting rid of the horses stinks more than the horse manure!
