EDITOR - I am appalled as a resident of Skegness to see drunks at all hours in the seafront shelters.
I dropped my teenage son off for work on Sunday morning at 8.55am on South Parade and was appalled and intimidated to see several men who were drinking alcohol and using vulgar language in the shelter.
Also I was concerned as a parent for my son, who I dropped off.
Surely it is illegal to consume alcohol in public places and I’m sure residents and tourists nearby do not appreciate it.
Come on, let’s address this issue and clean our seafront to make sure Skegness remains a lovely family resort and not a haven for drunks.
