More than 21 business women from across East Lindsey gathered in Skegness this morning to talk business over pancakes.

The networking group meets at the award-winning Caxton House guest house in Trafalgar Avenue every two months, hosted by owners Wendy and Paul Seabrook.

Today they celebrated Shrove Tuesday with a special pancake breakfast, served with a selection of savoury and sweet toppings.

The Standard joined chef Paul behind the scenes in the kitchen for a Facebook Live broadcast. Once a head chef at Lloyds of London, Paul shared some tips on making the perfect pancake.

Breakfast group organiser Michelle Coe-Baxter, of Duncan and Toplis accountants, had a quick taste before everyone tucked in.

During the breatfast meeting, Wendy and Paul received another award to add to their collection - the East Lindsey Age Friendly certificate awarded by T.E.D.
