VISITORS from Spilsby, Croft and Hagworthingham WIs joined Hundleby WI members at the annual walk, talk and lunch last week.
After coffee the walkers set off along part of the Franklin Way before heading to join the A16.
After a chat about the Scout Camp at Tom Thumb Holt, another regarding Partney Old Mill and an explanation of the mounds near the River Lym, the A16 was crossed with great care.
Field tracks were followed to the rear of the Spilsby schools.
Once in Woodlands Estate it was easy walking back to the A16. From there the Franklin Way and Milners Lane were followed back to Church Lane just in time for lunch prepared by WI members.
“It was a fine though dull, cool morning and lots of social chat had been much enjoyed,” said a spokesperson.
