THE Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust has announced plans for a series of local beach surveys this year - starting with Gibraltar Point this Saturday.
The new Shoresearch programme will give the public a chance to enjoy beachcombing with a purpose: a way of surveying the beach and recording what’s found.
“Through these surveys we hope to build a better picture of what lives where, and we need your help,” said a spokesperson.
“The surveys are very straightforward. Previous knowledge of marine wildlife isn’t necessary as there will be experts on hand to help with identification.
“All you need to do is book so we know you’re coming and then turn up on the day,” they added.
This Saturday’s session runs from 10am to noon. Call 01754 898 057 to book,
