WOMEN are being invited to take part in an annual moonlight walk to raise money for a worthy cause.

The St Barnabas Hospice is calling all to take part in the six mile plus walk around Skegness and help give something back to such a vital charity.

The walk will won’t be taking place until Saturday, October 1, but those interested must register to take part shortly.

A spokesperson said: “Each 24 hours of care in our In Patient Unit costs the charity £550 and an at Home visit costs the charity £117. These ‘costs’ are not charged to the patient or their families. The costs are met through fundraising and our funding partnerships.”

The walk will start at 10.30pm and finish at 12.30am. The event is open to females over the age of 13 years. Registration is costs just £10 which includes a map, sponsorship form and a Moonlight Walk t-shirt to wear on the night.

Men are also needed to help volunteer as marshals on the night.
