Nominations for the Coastal Community Awards being held in Skegness have been announced.

Volunteering heroes will be honoured at a presentation evening at the The Grosvenor House Hotel on Friday, March 31, run in partnership with Coastal Sound.

Russell Sparkes, hotel owner, said: “We have had a tremendous response with over 100 nominations from all walks of life. “The committee scrutinised each nomination and the reasons for such nomination, in order to eventually pick the final candidates in each category.

“It was wonderful to see that so many people in and around the coast are doing so much for other people within their communities and beyond.
