HUNDLEBY F.P.S. - The group’s first walk of 2014 began at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby on January 5, by kind permission of the site’s owners.

The route followed Fen Lane to the Catchwater Drain and along towards Revesby bridge before branching off along a track to reach the Miningsby Road on the A155.

This road was followed slightly uphill to a track across a field to the corner of a wood where a lane was joined leading south back to East Kirkby.

The five mile plus walk was completed in brilliant subshine for a January morning, though the frosty conditions made it difficult under foot at times.
Next month’s walk will be on February 2 to Chapel St Leonards.

New members are always welcome.
