FAYRE - A steady flow of people visited St. Mary’s Church on Saturday, July 13 for the annual Summer Fayre.
Though numbers were down slightly because of so many other events locally, the organisers were delighted to have raised the magnificent sum of £1,636.
This was due to the generosity of those who came on the day and from other donations.
The P.C.C. would like to thank all those who helped, donated items for sale and who contributed in any way to the Fayre’s success.
F.P.S. - The evening walk on Wednesday, July 17 started from Harrington.
The route was via Brinkhill along the green lane before climbing Warden Tree Hill.
Half way up a signed path leads to Somersby and then the quiet traffic free lane was followed back to Harrington. Shirley and Phil Ford led this pleasant walk at the end of a hot summer’s day.
The next day walk is on August 4 when Ann and Mick Lovelock will lead a seven or eight mile route around Bardney.
