HUNDLEBY FPS - After snow in February and heavy rain in March it was a real pleasure to start the walk from Farlesthorpe old railway carpark for the level stroll to Willoughby on a cool, sunny morning earlier this month.
This track is now a haven for wild life and trees.
From the church at Willoughby a path led across a moat and through a pretty garden before entering the paddock.
Clear paths led across several fields and past the Birdsong Cemetery to Sloothby.
Again good paths led through fields to Cumberworth and back to the cars after a pleasant seven-and-a-half mile journey.
Tony and Greta Cooke and Roy Clark had surveyed the route previously.
