CAR - A car boot sale is held every Thursday morning on the Marsh Lane sports field in aid of the Burgh and District Sports Association.

GARDEN - The next meeting of the Burgh Garden Club is on Wednesday, August 28 in Skegness, starting at 6pm with a guided tour, followed by a campfire cookout.

For those wishing to eat, please bring along a bowl and utensils.

Friends and late comers welcomed.

LINE DANCING - This popular yet informal group lines up for footwork, friendship and fun at Burgh Baptist Church, on Wednesdays at 2pm.

NURSING - Parish Nursing Drop In at Burgh Baptist Church is held on Fridays from 10am to 11.45am.

People of all ages are welcome to pop in for a check up, support or prayer with Nurse Mandy and the team (no appointment necessary), or just to enjoy a chat over coffee and scones.

PHOENIX GROUP - Offers support and friendship for those facing loneliness from various circumstances. Prayer is available if desired.

The group also enjoys outings to different venues and guest speakers from time to time. Meetings are held on Wednesdays from 10.30am to noon at Burgh Baptist Church.

WORKSHOP - A workshop designed to introduce children to the history of Burgh le Marsh, explore real archaeological artefacts and the story of an ancient landscape revealed by modern techniques will be held in Burgh next week.

The event will take place on Wednesday, August 28 at Burgh le Marsh Village Hall.

There are two sessions: 10am to noon or 1pm to 3pm. Please call 01507 613134 (booking is essential).
