ANGELS - The Little Angels will meet next Wednesday, March 6 at 2pm in the parish church of St Peter and Paul.

DEBT - Burgh Community Debt Advice Centre has trained advisers to offer free advice ranging from simple budgeting to cases of insolvency including debt relief orders, individual voluntary arrangements and bankruptcy.

GARDEN - A reminder that the Burgh Garden Club will meet tonight (Wednesday February 27) at 7pm for 7.30pm, at Burgh Baptist Church, the Causeway.

There will be a talk by Jean Burton from The Sir Joseph Banks centre. Refreshments are available. All are welcome.

HERITAGE - Trash or Treasure will be the subject at the Burgh Heritage meeting next Monday, March 4 at 7.30pm in the windmill tea room.

The speaker will be Sonja Marshall.

NURSING - Parish Nursing at Burgh Baptist Church is held on Fridays from 10am to 11.45 am.

All are welcome to pop in for a check up, support or prayer with Nurse Mandy and the team (no appointment necessary) or just to enjoy a chat over coffee and scones.

PHOENIX - The Phoenix Group offers support and friendship for those facing loneliness from various circumstances and prayer is available if desired.

The group also enjoys outings to different venues and guest speakers from time to time.

PRAYER - The Women’s World Day of Prayer service is this Friday, March 1 at 2pm in the parish church of St Peter and Paul.

The theme, prepared by the women of France, is ‘I was a stranger and you welcomed me’. Men and women of all ages are invited to share in the service.

STATIONS - Stations of the Cross will take place in the parish church of St Peter and Paul, next Monday, March 4 at 6pm.

TWINNING - Burgh Twinning members will meet this Saturday, March 2, at 10am in the parish council room, to discuss plans for their forthcoming visit to Beaumont-sur-Sarthe in May.

YOUTH - Burgh Baptist Church’s youth programs offer weekday fun for all ages: Impact chills out on Mondays at 6.30pm for Year six and upwards, Kings Club meets on Tuesdays at 6pm for Reception to Year five and Little Treasures parents and toddlers gather on Thursdays at 1.30pm.

WI - ‘We Built Our House Twice’ will be the subject at the WI meeting next Wednesday, March 6 at 7pm in the WI Hall.

The competition is a comic verse.
