CRAFT - There were 180 entries for the Burgh WI Crafts and Produce show held recently in the WI Hall.
Judges were Ann Laxton and Sylvia Elliott of Chapel St Leonards WI.

BARN - There will be a barn dance workshop in the WI Hall this Friday, October 12 at 7.30pm.
CYCLE - Father Terry raised £457 in the recent sponsored cycle ride in aid of the Lincolnshire Old Churches Trust and Burgh Parish church. He is grateful to all who sponsored him.
ENTERTAINMENT - An evening of entertainment put on by the users of the WI Hall was a success and the total raised for the craft and produce show and the evening’s entertainment came to £438 for the WI Hall.
The money will go towards the project for creating a car park at the front of the hall.
HISTORY - London Wartime part two will be the subject at the Burgh History Group meeting next Monday, October 15 when the speaker will be Denise Harrison.
The meeting will be held in the tea room at the windmill at 7.30pm.
WI - The October meeting of Burgh le Marsh WI was very well attended.
After the business report, members were reminded of some important calendar dates, including a quiz evening with sausage and mash supper on Saturday, October 20.
The speaker was Jenny Lucas, who talked about her love of crafts.
She showed members a myriad of quilting and patchwork samples, which included bags, pictures and small items made from scraps of material.
