ANGELS - The Little Angels will meet next Wednesday, September 5 at 2pm in the parish church of St Peter and Paul.

BEATLES - A reminder that the Beatroot Beatles are coming to Burgh Village Hall with guests Cutting Edge this Saturday, September 1 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £5 and are in aid of Kenyan Orphans. The tickets are available by telephoning 01754 882454.

You are asked to bring your own drinks.

CAR - A reminder that there is a car boot sale every Thursday morning on the Marsh Lane Sports field in aid of the Burgh Sports Association.

COFFEE - A coffee evening, organised by Burgh WI, will take place at Catchwater Meadows tonight (Wednesday) at 6pm.

Admission is £2.

GRANT - A reminder that Grant application forms are now available for the Jane Palmer Foundation.

To qualify for the grant funding you must be a Burgh resident upto the age of 24 seeking further education or apprenticeship.

Grants can be used to purchase books or equipment for course work.

LUNCH - A Ladies’ Lite Lunch will be held on Saturday, September 1 at 12.30pm at Burgh Baptist Church.

Women of all ages are welcome to enjoy tasty yet healthy fare, and an informative talk and open discussion on the important topic of respiratory health led by a registered nurse.

WI - ‘Ewe to Me’ will be the subject at the WI meeting next Wednesday, September 5 at 7pm in the WI Hall.

The competition is a knitted garment.
