Victorian fun at The Village

The Village, Church Farm, Skegness will be holding a traditional Christmas market on December 15 and 16.

The weekend will have various crafts and stalls from the victorian era and staff will be wearing traditional Victorian costumes, with roasted chestnuts, mince pies and mulled wine on offer.

Father Christmas will also be there for this special festive celebration, which is the farms first Victorian market since becoming an independent heritage site.

On the Friday, before the market begins, volunteer at the museum for over four years, Lynn Beeston will be celebrating her 50th birthday,

It is hoped this birthday booking will be one of many on the site, as when The Village re-opens in march, it will be available as a venue for Birthday parties. For more information on church farm call 01754 766658.
