A young fundraiser is to independently raise funds for the Ryan Smith Foundation after organising a charity event, taking place on Friday, May 9.

The event will take place at the Grand Central Complex, North Parade, Skegness, in association with the Embassy School of Performing Arts.

Doors will open at 7pm for an evening of entertainment, organised by 14-year-old Skegness Grammar School student, Mica Jones.

The young student is a member of the Embassy School of Performing Arts and is taking her arts awards very soon.

To achieve this, students are asked to take part in or create a challenge.

After The Ryan Smith Foundation visited her school to promote cycle saftey awareness and the dangers of not wearing a cycle helmet and since Ryan Smith was a fellow school colleague, Mica thought it the ideal opportunity to take on the role of host for the night and raise funds for a local cause.

Mica, the sole organiser of the event hopes the event, which has taken her some time to organise will be a success.

The event, entitled, ‘You Bring The Talent’ will be brought to life on the night by fellow school pupils and members of her performing arts school will also assist.

With raffles and prizes up for grabs, as well as a great line up of ‘special guest performers the variety night promises to be ‘a great night of entertainment for all the family’.

Entry is £5 for adults and £2.50 mfor children, with all proceeds to the Ryan Smith Foundation.
