UPDATED: Woman trapped in upturned lorry on A1028 near Skendleby suffers suspected broken leg

A 38-year-old lorry driver suffered a suspected broken leg after her lorry upturned on the A1028 near Skendleby, trapping her inside.

The Normamby-le-Wold woman was freed by firefighters and taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital after the accident, which occurred between Stone Pit Lane and Dawby lane shortly after 3.30pm yesterday (Monday).

The articulated lorry spilled 42 tonnes of grain,closing the road until 8.30pm while a farmer remove it.

There were no other vehicles of people involved.
