UPDATE: Man charged with grievous bodily harm with intent

A 28-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent following an incident in Skegness in the early hours Sunday.

Shane Osbourne, of no fixed abode, has been charged with GBH and possesion of a knife.

Police were called to outside Mama Mia pizza takeaway in Castleton Boulevard at 1.30am on Sunday to reports of a stabbing. A 27-year-old man was rushed to Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital, treated for injuries and then transferred to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.

Osbourne was due to appear before Lincoln Magistrates this morning (Tuesday).
