Volunteers urged to help out

MORE volunteers are urged to come forward to give their time to support the National Coastwatch.

Those interested are asked if they can spare just a few hours each month.

The watchkeepers come from all walks of life and male or female volunteers are welcome between 18 and 80 years.

Volunteers are wanted for the watchtower at Winthorpe Avenue in Skegness.

The NCI watchkeepers are the ears and eyes keeping watch monitoring the marine radio channel using radar and providing a listening watch in poor visibility.

Anyone interested is asked to ring 01754 810789 or 01507 490878 or visit www.nci.org.uk
