ROAD diversions were put in place after a white van and a BMW collided on the junction of Burgh Road, Castleton Boulevard and Roman Bank in Skegness earlier this afternoon (Wednesday).

The two vehicles collided at the crossroads immediately outside the Ship & Atlantic Bar at around 2.15pm. The collision left the white van lying on its side, with the front of the BMW sandwiched underneath it.

Police said that no-one had been injured in the smash.

Partial/full road closures and diversions were in effect on some of the roads immediately around the crash site following the smash.
