Spilsby cyclist remains in critical condition after sustaining injuries on road at Hundleby

A cyclist found on the B1195 at Hundleby near Spilsby with ‘serious injuries’ late on Friday night is still in a “critical condition” in hospital, police said this afternoon (Monday).

The cyclist, who is understood to be a 54-year-old Spilsby man, was found on the road with the injuries just before midnight on Friday.

It was not initially know how the man had sustained his injuries but police have said it is now believed that no other vehicles were involved.

The man remains at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.

At the time he was found on the road he was wearing a beige t-shirt, blue jeans and had been riding a black Kettler Alu-Rad racer stule bike. It had a chain with orange lock.
