Lincolnshire Police have urged motorists to take care on the region’s roads this morning (Sunday) after icy patches caught out a number of drivers.

The icy conditions have caused a number of accidents this morning, including one where a car rolled over near Market Rasen.
A woman was taken to hospital with seatbelt injuries but was otherwise unhurt.

And over in Caistor a car hit a tree, but luckily there were no injuries.

Several other motoring incidents have also been reported.

A spokesperson for the police said: “Icy conditions have resulted in a number of cars leaving the roads this morning but no serious injuries fortunately. Seatbelt bruising only.”
