Motorcyclist, 20, injured in crash

A MOTORCYCLIST from Ingoldmells was in a ‘serious but stable’ condition in hospital on Monday evening after suffering multiple fractures in a crash.

The 20-year-old man’s Baotian 125 collided with a Renault Grand Scenic on the A52 between Hogsthorpe and Mumby at 8.20pm.

The Renault driver, a 40-year-old Alford woman, and her three young passengers were all uninjured, but the motorcyclist was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital and then to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.

Police have appealed for witnesses who may have seen the collision or the vehicles beforehand to contact the Collision Witness Hotline on 01522 558855.
