THE Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway Historic Vehicles Trust is set to host a gala day in Ingoldmells this Saturday, September 3.
The event will take place at the Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway station at the Water Leisure Park in Walls Lane from 11am to 4pm.
The Trust will display their unique collection of narrow gauge vehicles from the First World War and will run a military Ambulance train.
Rides will be available in the LCLR’s ex-Ashover railway coach hauled by an ex-Army Simplex diesel Locomotive.The other items in the collection will be view at the depot alongside the railway.
The Trust will also have on display a recently restored diesel locomotive- ‘Nocton’- from 1920. Refreshments will be available at the Water Leisure Park cafe and there is free car parking near the railway station.
