Ambucopter called to injured cyclist
Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance crew were called out at 1.40pm yesterday (Tuesday) to assist a male cyclist in Walcott who had slipped and fallen off his bike riding through a ford, seriously injuring his leg.
The helicopter arrived within 11 minutes and the patient was taken to Pilgrim Hospital, Boston by road, according an ambucopter spokesman.
Police later reported the injuries to be minor.
