Three new councillors have been co-opted onto Spilsby Town Council to fill vacancies following the May local election.

The new members are Coun Claudette Argy, Coun David Pleming and Coun Andrew Wright.

Coun Pleming is a returning member and was previously served as Mayor of Spilsby. Coun Argy and Coun Wright are new members, although Coun Wright has a wealth of experience in central and local government.

The selection interviews were held prior to last month’s council meeting.

Ebony Feek has recently resigned as a town councillor and election will be called if 12 voters notify the Elections Officer at East Lindsey District Council. Failing this, a replacement will be co-opted.
