The iconic ‘Skegness is So Bracing’ holiday poster has provided the inspiration for feedom of information campaigners with former prime minister Tony Blair standing in for the Jolly Fisherman.

The ex-Labour leader is shown naked in the windswept pose made famous by the town mascot, in the image drawn by Guardian cartoonist Steve Bell. The Campaign for Freedom of Information commissioned the artwork which appears on T-shirts marking the organisation’s 30th anniversary. The cartoon is accompanied by the strapline ‘Freedom of Information is So Bracing.’ Mr Blair introduced the Freedom of Information Act while in Government, but claimed the legislation had been a mistake after leaving office.
