The culmination of a season of fundraising at Tagg’s Caravan Park on Wainfleet Road in Skegness took place recently.

The presentation took place in the on site clubhouse, ‘Tunny’s Tavern’ as site owner Tunny Tagg made a double cheque presentation to Skegness RNLI Lifeboat Station and the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

In total, £7,000 was raised throughout the season with this total split equally between the two charities as site owner Tunny presented cheques of £3,500 each to Gordon West and Mark Hardy of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and Skegness’ RNLI Lifeboat crew members.

Money was raised through bingo and raffles held in Tunny’s Tavern and fundraising was well supported by caravan owners and visitors.
