A TEAM of dedicated staff from a Skegness hair salon are clubbing together to raise money for charity.

Hairstylists and staff at Millionhairs in Roman Bank, Skegness, are dusting off their running boots ready in time the Race For Life event being held in Cleethorpes on June 10.

Amanda Noble, Julie Chambers, Sally Mayo, all stylists and Emily Coleman, who is a Saturday assistant, are hoping to raise as much possible to help the Cancer Research charity as each of them or someone they know, has been affected by the condition.

“We’ve already raised £250 so far, so we are setting our target higher and hoping for as much as possible,” said Amanda.

Despite none of the women having any experience in an event like this before, training is already under way with many of the ladies running along the beach front.

“We’re all very nervous but we are looking forward to it and thought it would be a good way to raise money for such an important charity,” added Amanda.

If you would like to sponsor the staff at Millionhairs then pop into the salon to fill in their form between 9am and 5pm from Monday to Saturday.
