Galley Hill Farm in Saleby, near Alford, hosts it second ‘Strawberry Fayre’ on Sunday (July 12).

The event will run from 10am to 4pm and will be celebrating the delights of locally grown produce. Volunteers will be serving delicious strawberry cream teas, and there will be fun and games for the children including a strawberry treasure hunt.

There will be Artisan Craft stalls displaying and selling their uniquely designed crafts, and this year up-and-coming talented local crafts folk will be showcased. There will be plants for sale, plus and hot food and ice cream on offer.

Live music will be provided by ‘Banjo Bob’, who will be playing and singing an array of music from all genres.

Organiser Dawn Blakey said: “Macmillan Nurses do a wonderful job and we are hoping to raise as much money as we can to support them. Everyone is welcome, so please come along and support us for this very worthwhile cause.”
