Spilsby councillor in walks advertising suggestion

Walks around Spilsby could be advertised through a scheme intended to promote towns and increase visitor numbers, a councillor has suggested.

Coun Trevor Beaumont raised the idea at the latest Spilsby Town Council meeting as a means to ‘increase footfall’ in the town.

Councillors felt walking groups and other social organisations should be involved with the project, which 100 UK towns had joined - but only Market Rasen in Lincolnshire.
