Southview Leisure Park has now re-opened with guests and owners returning to their holiday homes and touring caravans.

In a statement, Park Resorts said: “It remains business as usual, although the Boathouse bar and restaurant and swimming pool will be out of action until the New Year.

“Park Resorts will refund holiday makers and owners the costs of using alternative local swimming facilities.

“The Showbar entertainment complex remains open and is unaffected by the fire.

“Additional daytime entertainment activities are also being arranged with immediate effect.

“Park Resorts intends to use an area within the onsite hotel as an alternative to the Boathouse restaurant/bar.

“Southview is still taking bookings and looks forward to welcoming its guests.”

Firefighters remained busy throughout the night and early this morning damping down hot spots at the complex.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue have confirmed that there was significant fire damage to 75 percent of the leisure complex.

Fire investigation officers are currently on the scene to try to ascertain what may have caused the fire.

A cause has yet to be determined.
