Amateur detectives are being urged not to miss out on a murder mystery event at Skegness Library.
On Wednesday October 22, the library is hosting The Murder at the Ravenswick Hotel, based on the works of award-winning crime author Ann Cleeves. You can step into the shoes of detective Jimmy Perez, hear the suspects’ statements and see if you can deduce who is guilty of this most wicked crime!
Library team leader Sarah Broome said: “The mystery, which has been written by Ann Cleeves, is set on the Isle of Shetland, and uses the detective who features in her highly-successful crime novels. There are statements from four suspects, and a forensic report written by a real CSI officer.
“Having heard and seen all the evidence, participants can mull things over a cup of coffee and a biscuit, and come up with their own conclusion as to who committed the crime. We shall then reveal the killer and their reasons.
The event starts at 7pm. Tickets are available from the library and cost £1, which includes light refreshments.
