The ever-popular Skegness Santa Fun Run is less than a month away - and entry is now open.

The Rotary Club of Skegness charity fundraiser will take place on Sunday, December 15 at 10.30am.

Over 250 Santa suited entrants are expected to complete the course around the Skegness seafront, starting and finishing next to the Lifeboat Station on Tower Esplanade.

The Santa suits are supplied to entrants as part of the £10 entry fee along with a number and commemorative medal at the end.

The event is in aid of local charities that the Rotary supports, including the air ambulance. Sponsorship forms are available for entrants wishing to raise additional donations for these charities.

“It’s an enjoyable Sunday morning event which attracts young and old, runners and walkers and even the occasional sleigh dog takes part,” said a spokesperson for the local Rotarians.

More information and entry forms can be found at www.SkegnessSantasFunRun.org.uk or by email to the Santa Fun Run Secretary at santafunrun.skegness@gmail.com
