An inspiring poet who has spent the last 17 years compiling his work, is thrilled to have his first book published.

Glyn Goode, 67, says his collection of 110 poems, called No Beach Left To Walk On, explores many reflections of life and believes it holds something for everyone to enjoy.

At the age of 50, Glyn woke during the night feeling inspired to jot down a few ideas, and some time later his friend Rupert Peter King believed them to be good enough to have them published in a book.

“My poetry is a collection of mixed topics and reflections about life, some humorous, and I think there’s something there for lots of people,” said Glyn.

The poetry book will be mainly available to buy online as an ebook, and Glyn hopes it will reach a wider audience in the age of electronic reader devices.

“It will soon be available from all the big reader app sites and ebook shops, such as Amazon, Kindle, Tesco ebooks and others. I’m hoping people can find some pleasure in it, I’ve written around 12 more poems recently,” added Glyn.
