A local man from Skegness did his bit for Children in Need on Friday, when he bravely had a Pudsey Bear tattooed on his arm.

Daniel Scragg, 22, employee at Grand Central Skegness, enlisted the help of tattoo artist friend Luke, from Extreme Three tattoo studio on Drummond Road.

“I came up with the idea after having my baby boy, Jacob recently, and with it being Children in Need I thought it would be a good opportunity to raise some money,” said Daniel.

The Extreme Three tattoo studio agreed to sponsor Daniel’s tattoo and carry out the work for free, so he could then raise money by having the children’s charity mascot inked onto his arm.

“I thought it would be better to have something permanent, to last forever, rather than a temporary thing to remember it by, like having a leg wax which only lasts a few weeks” he added.

So far, he has raised over £300 and in addition to this, from last Friday, the studio have decided to offer the Pudsey Bear tattoos for just £30, with a £10 donation given to Children in Need, for everyone that has one.
