A SKEGNESS-based Cadet company held its latest awards presentations recently.

The awards at 3 Company Skegness Detachment Army Cadet Force were part of the outfit’s annual Inspection.

Inspecting officer Major Wilson was on hand to inspect the cadets, observe the cadet NCOs delivering lessons, and chat about how the detachment has progressed since the previous inspection.

The detachment parades once a week on Thursdays between 7pm and 9pm, and is open to males and females between 12-18 yrs of age. All are welcome if anyone wishes to join.

The presentations on the night were:- Best cadet - S/SGT Schofield; best attendance - L/CPL Marshall; best turned out - Cdt Smith.E; best recruit - Cdt Twigg-Smith; most improved - Cadet Waston.
