Many parents got creative making costumes but children were also encouraged to dress up in pyjamas because everyone loves a bedtime story.

At the Richmond School in Skegness, the Year 1 class of Mrs Kate Beaumont and Mrs Marie Lake dressed up as pirates and went in search of treasure.

Spilsby Primary pupils also joined in the fun dressing up as their favourite character or wore pyjamas.
