THE deadline for this year’s Seabank Marathon has been extended.
People looking to take part in the annual fundraiser on Sunday, July 17, now have until 5pm on Monday to get their entry forms in.
The day will see people running, jogging or walking from Skegness to Boston in aid of their chosen charities.
Organiser Peter Arnott, said: “This is the final chance to enter and take advantage of a great day out and a fantastic opportunity to raise money for a worthy cause.”
The trail race begins at 9am at South Parade car park, Skegness and the fundraising walkers/joggers event at 9.15am. The Fishtoft mini-marathon sets off at 11am from the Fishtoft Scout Hut.
The design for this year’s Seabank Marathon medals has now been revealed and features the Jolly Fisherman.
Mr Arnott added: “The medals, by All Sports of Boston, are going to look great and all participants will receive one for taking part.”
Entry forms are available now from the Standard offices at Unit 22, The Hildreds, High Street, Skegness.
