Pupils from schools in Skegness joined the town’s Remembrance Day commemorations to honour the sacrifices of previous generations.

Members of the Beacon Academy Council from Beacon Primary Academy were involved, joining forces with children from the other three academies in Skegness (Skegness Junior Academy, Skegness Infant Academy and Skegness Academy) and other local schools and community groups.

Beacon Primary principal Mrs Wright said: “We were so proud of our children. They showed great respect and it was a pleasure to be a part of something so important. All of our children have taken part in a range of activities in their classrooms to ensure that they have an understanding of what our past and present Armed Forces have done for us as a country.”
