East Lindsey District Council’s Conservative planning chairman Neil Cooper has held his Burgh Le Marsh seat.
He won with 582 votes ahead of UKIP’s Jimmy Brookes with 414 and David Poole (Ind) with 272.
Turnout was over 60%.
Coun Cooper said: “I’m absolutely delighted with the win.
“We put a lot of effort into the campaign”
And he confirmed he would like to stay on in the key planning role adding: “It would be nice to carry on the work we’ve started.”
